I suspected for a long time that Cheryl was LCMS. I've been a lifelong one too. I'm planning to share this post with my church sisters on Facebook and encourage them to follow your writings. You are off to a great start, and I'm looking forward to where this goes.
Aww. That touches my heart, Ruth. I’m amazed you could tell. I appt know you are a lifetime LCMS’r too. Only by God’s doing will this be worthwhile. I’m a little worried. Thanks for sharing.
And WA has my heart also, Kristin!!! We really do have it all from the ocean to the desert, mountains and lakes and waterfalls and rivers and rolling farmlands. Sigh!!! Oh, and so much rain and the Big Dark. Don’t move here!! 😉
Ah, yes, the Big Dark. And I always remind myself that the rain brings the beauty...but day after day after day can wear on one. I remember more of the Neverending gray skies in Puyallup than here in Skagit. For that I am grateful.🤍
We may have to visit the Skagit area again when the grey/rain gets to be too much down here south of you. We were up there last year and took the Bagley Lakes Trail. GORGEOUS! And then in September we did the North Cascades. Unfortunately, we got there just a few days after the Perry Fire started and the smoke was horrendous. We didn't get to see much of the jaw-dropping mountain ranges but it was still so pretty.
I had not read yours yet! Look at you and all those fabulous photos, Kristin!
Thanks, friend!

What kind words of encouragement, thank you. And for sharing as well. It is appreciated. To God be the glory!
